Includes lidded brown cardboard (20 quantity) 7" carton box with manufacturer's sticker featuring "002169697/085 003 LP 7INCH BEATLES LOVE ME DO (barcode) 5099901740172 (with repeated number and additional differing barcode underneath) 20 25.09.2012 Optimal Media GmbH" white sticker on side, official basic EMI delivery letter advising that record "can be sold from Friday 5th October", printed email from EMI rep. (dated 3rd October 2012) advising faulty stock not to be sold, official Left Legged Pineapple contents and consignment notes from EMI (dated 1st October 2012) with details of delivery and official EMI returns note (29th October) for the records with barcoded courier return sticker. We were not sent a posted recall letter from EMI although they do appear to be readily reproduced and available on ebay. Withdrawn scarce UK (EU) 2 track solid centre Parlophone red/silver label remastered issue in replica of original die-cut stripey Parlophone sleeve (with barcode on rear). Apparent reason for the withdrawal is that it erroneously features the original album version with Andy White (not Ringo Starr) on drums and includes tambourine (played by Ringo !).
