Vinyl LP ~ Sought-after original US mono 6 track Blue Note label issue in NY address sleeve. Sleeve is laminated front with pasteback rear section with Nat Hentoff sleevenotes and original "43 West 61st St., New York 23" address; front on looks excellent but with small seam split to top edge and occasional minor patches of sleeve paper loss at outer edges, with slight rub to rear. Labels are clean, white/blue with concentric groove and "New York USA" address at 2 o' clock. Vinyl shows multiple long scratches and scuffs, with some looking quite nasty - looks "fair" - however it has been play tested in it's entirety and found to show minor surface noise only with only 10 or so light ticks on track 2 (definitely no jumps or suchlike) and is a very enjoyable listening copy - solid vg condition and not so far off excellent. Run outs have desirable machined "Van Gelder" mastering stamp and ear symbol. Also include original advertising inner sleeve (small seam split to bottom and minor tears near opening edge. An opportunity to acquire a decent listening copy at an advantageous price compared to an excellent looking copy (50-75 GBP+). 1962 (vg/f)
