Terms & Conditions

As a mail order company, we comply with (distance selling) regulations 2000.

The link for full details is: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2000/2334/contents/made

You have the right to cancel your order (for any reason) within 28 days of receiving the goods. To excise this option, you must inform us in writing (letter or e-mail) within 28 days of receipt of order. If not faulty, goods must be returned in the same condition they were sent out (with any seals still intact if applicable) although postage costs will not be refunded - only the actual item(s) paid for.

All orders carry a full 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with any aspect of our service please contact us first for a prompt response to correct matters - we’d rather hear about a problem than lose you as a customer.

We pay the full return postage costs of faulty items only, although prior agreement must be made for the level of return service.

Although we attempt to dispatch your order within 1-3 working days (UK), 1-5 working days (non-UK) from receipt of payment we cannot guarantee that this will be the case in every instance, especially for larger (2 Kg+) parcels sent by courier service to non-UK destinations, although we will send you information of the intended pick-up date.

Delivery times for standard, non-signed for mail is completely in the hands of the postal services and cannot be influenced after posting. Guideline delivery times are below.

UK - 1st class/courier - the vast majority of deliveries are 1-4 calendar days from posting, although may be up to 14 in exceptional cases.

EUROPE - air mail/courier - the vast majority of deliveries are 2-10 calendar days form posting, although may be up to a month in exceptional cases or to remote areas.

REST OF THE WORLD - air mail/courier – the vast majority of deliveries are 4-14 calendar days from posting, although may be up to a month in exceptional cases or to remote areas.

Delays, although unusual, may be caused by random security examination hold-ups by customs, general inefficiency along the way, adverse weather conditions or any other unknown circumstance(s).

The overwhelming majority of parcels arrive within the lower time frames but please only place an order if you are happy to accept the outside possibility that it make take up to the upper time limit to arrive. Only parcels taking longer than these limits are considered undelivered by Royal Mail and potentially refundable from that point onwards.

If signed for/tracked/insured service is required for non-UK parcels (up to 2kg), the addtional cost is 5 GBP.

Royal Mail offer "International Tracked & Signed" service for most worldwide destinations. However, this is not available for all countries as yet, in which case either "International Signed" or "International Tracked" service are the option(s).

Please note that this does not automatically guarantee speedier delivery, but is prioritised.

If required, please request this service at time of ordering, although you may also be offered it as an option when invoiced.

If time definite delivery is required i.e. you are not prepared to accept the possibility of your order taking up to the potential maximum delivery time limit, please ask for a courier service/express delivery quote (please be aware that this may be quite expensive for small weight items as prices start at 15 GBP).

Unusually weighty/large dimension parcels or those of high value/high risk will require a postage cost quote - we will inform you of the cost for approval before proceeding.

All items are subject to availability.

All items are priced in UK GBP (£ Sterling) and include VAT@20% (except books at 0%)

Please be aware that when making payment from a currency other than UK GBP, a currency conversion and commission rate may be charged by the handler of the transaction – we are not liable for these charges, it would be advisable to check beforehand if in doubt.

Refunds are made (unless otherwise agreed) in the original mode of payment and at the same payment amount of the original order – there may be currency exchange fluctuations in the interim period for which we do not accept liability.

We reserve the right to increase or decrease prices of our catalogue at any time, although this will not affect the price of an order already in effect.

Although we make every attempt to ensure listings are accurate, occasionally through human or network error, mistakes may occur – all liability for such errors is expressly excluded to the fullest extent within permitted applicable law.
